Deutschland – Land der Ideen

Every year, under the patronage of the Federal president and within a nationwide contest, the initiative „Deutschland – Land der Ideen“ awards visionary innovators to present their projects in public. This year, CAPS (Computer Aided Plastic Surgery) from the Klinikum Rechts der Isar, part of the Technical University of Munich and partner of Materialise won this award in the category „Science and engineering” with the project „Vom Automobil zum Patienten: Technologie und Medizin finden zusammen”. The awards ceremony, accompanied by top-level presentations dealing with the topic “Simulation&Medicine” and an exhibition, takes place the 27th of March at the BMW Welt in Munich.
